Dr Flora He is a Senior Lecturer, the School Goverrnance Coordinator (Nursing and Postgraduate) for the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).
Dr He obtained her PhD from the Australian National University in 2014, investigating the factors contributing to acculturative stress of international nursing students in Australia. After completing her PhD project, Dr He and her colleagues conducted two cross-sectional studies on undergraduate students' self-directed learning experience and psychological well-being, resulting in two high-quality publications. Besides research, Dr He has taught and developed various subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at ACU and Charles Darwin University. Her teaching passion also goes to supervising Masters by Coursework students with their independent projects at ACU. Dr He enjoyed working with her Master's students and assisted them in achieving excellent results in their projects.
